Consultant’s task:What
a consultant would do would depend a great deal on their interests and
availability. Mostly it can be stuff done over email and web interfaces,
or in some cases by phone. (We are looking for people who live in
certain areas so we could talk to them in person in some cases, but that
usually won't be necessary.) Examples of the kind of tasks involved
are:- given
an English sentence and a translation of that sentence into
Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy, judge how fluent the
Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy sentence is (does it look like a
Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy sentence) and how adequate it is as a
translation of the English sentence.
- the same as above, but translating from Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy to English
- given an English sentence, translate it into Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy
- answering questions about differences in meaning in Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy sentences
So
the only real requirement here is that a person is bilingual in English
and Kinyarwanda/Kirundi/Malagasy, and they are comfortable with
standard computer stuff, like using email and word processing programs.We
are welcoming volunteers, but also have some money in the budget for
paid work if that is of interest to anyone. How much any person would
like to do would be up to them. There is no contract.Tâches de l’expert-conseil:Les

kinyarwanda/kirundi/malgache est valide et si c'est une bonne traduction
du français
- décidez si une phrase en français est une bonne traduction du kinyarwanda/kirundi/malgache
- traduisez une phrase du français au kinyarwanda/kirundi/malgache
- répondez aux questions sur les différences du sens des phases kinyarwanda/kirundi/malgaches.
Alors
il faut seulment que l'expert-conseil soit bilingue en français et
kinyarwanda/kirundi/malgache et il faut savoir utiliser un ordinateur
(par exemple, envoyer des courriels et employer des logiciels de
traitement de texte).Nous
accueillons les volontaires, mais nous avons aussi de l'argent pour le
travail rémunéré si ça intéresse quelqu'un de nos contacts pour ce
projet. L'expert-conseil peut décider lui-même la quantité de travail et
il n'y a pas de contrat. |
